Question by Christine S: is it good to mix fawn and black pug together?
i have a female fawn pug. I am purchasing a black male. in the future, i am planning to breed. is it good to mix fawn and black pug together?

It isn’t good or bad. If you breed two black dogs there’s no way to be sure the pups will be black and vice versa. Sometimes they mutate.

have you done any research on breeding? do you know any breeders? have you ever been around puppies? if you have done any of this then you would of realized that with small pur-bred dogs mixing color really isnt an issue. i have a crm pom and a red sable pom….my puppies may be cream they may be red they may be sable hell they may even be black it all depends on their genetics

Do you have any idea how difficult it can be to breed dogs? Especially ones like pugs? Google it, before you wind up with dead dogs.
And please, leave breeding up to the licensed breeders who know what they are doing.
